Laptop continued delay in the distribution; not to be distributed in the current academic year
Coimbatore: Top students have not received the Free laptop
throughout the state for the year 2013-14. Each year, after the completion of
the final exams only the educational department forward the laptop says the
frustrated teachers.
Government offers uniform, book, note, color pencil, shoes,
cycle, Laptop and 14 types of school products are distributed to the students
for the welfare of students.
Every year thousand crores have been allocated for this
purpose. In particular, in order to enhance students' technical skills free laptop
is distributed to students who Top in Plus 2.
To supply the laptop for the year 2011-12, 2012-13 and
1637.78 lakh in two years, in the current academic year (2013-14), Rs 925.01
crore has been allocated. 5.50 lakh students are included in the list of
beneficiaries. Laptop distribution for the current academic year has not yet
begun;
Students with a laptop can improve the basic technical
skills for higher
education. However, after the students had completed Plus 2 it is a Worse act
for the Headmaster to deliver the laptop to the students by searching them.
A few students, who goes to the state of higher education are
not able to receive the laptop. In Coimbatore district for the 2012-13 academic
year the laptop has been delivered to 19 thousand 400 students.
The current academic year the laptop are not yet distributed
