NCTE to allow 40 academic colleges
Chennai in Tamil Nadu in the current academic year, 40 new
B. Ed.. For colleges, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE,) is
allowed.

Viswanathan told reporters yesterday:... There are already 657 teacher
education colleges in the state. This year, 40 new B. Ed.. Colleges NCTE Permission
is granted. College, we link them to apply for recognition.
